About The Role

To help us grow Winged Boots’ brand awareness and clients, we are looking for a social media executive to manage Winged Boots’ social channels, elevating our online presence and taking creative control over our posting schedule, working within the marketing team and alongside our head of content. The main responsibilities of this role are:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to boost brand awareness, engagement, and traffic.
  • Create and curate high-quality, engaging content for Meta and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor social media trends and incorporate relevant topics into our content.
  • Write, edit, and publish posts that reflect our brand’s voice and style.
  • Manage the social content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of posts.
  • Work alongside our retail stores to grow their following and assist with social posts and account management.
  • Create and manage trade accounts across all platforms
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally.
  • Track and analyse social media metrics to evaluate the success of campaigns and strategies.
  • Provide regular reports on social media performance and community engagement.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimise content and strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals.
  • Coordinate with the sales and product departments to ensure a cohesive social media presence that reflects booking trends, core products and on-trend destinations and hotels.

Who should apply?

You will be a great fit if you are creative, have fantastic communication skills and can work to tight deadlines. The following are also requirements for the role:

  • You have a minimum two years’ experience running a brand’s social media account.
  • You are a quick thinker who is passionate about social media, marketing and growing a brand.
  • You think outside the box and are confident pitching ideas.
  • You have strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • You have the ability to produce content across different platforms.
  • You are zealous about creating original and creative content for any audience.
  • You have a good understanding of video techniques and social media best practices.
  • You’re independent and capable of managing your own workload while confidently meeting deadlines.
  • You have a keen eye for accuracy.
  •  You’re a strong multitasker, a team player and comfortable within a fast-paced environment.
Beneficial skills:
  • Experience in the travel industry – particularly the luxury market
  • Experience working with influencers and running social media competitions
  • Experience in designing visually appealing graphics and videos using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and similar programmes.
